ATLANTA, GA—New Jersey Athletic Conference swimmers and
divers picked up 19 All-American Awards at the 2003 NCAA Division III
Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships hosted by Emory University,
March 13-15, 2003. The following are summaries of the conference’s
All-American performances:
Kristin
Clegg, William Paterson
In the 100 Backstroke, Clegg finished 16th with a time of 59.99
to become only the third women's swimmer in William Paterson history to
earn All-American Honorable Mention honors and the first since 1994.
Aubrey
Horvath, TCNJ
In the 50 Freestyle, Horvath finished as an All-American by virtue of her
sixth place showing in a time of 24.15. In the 100 Freestyle, she earned
All-America Honorable Mention honors after posting a time of 52.73 in the
finals for a 14th place finish.
Jennifer
Sebastian, TCNJ
In the 200 Freestyle, Sebastian earned All-American Honorable Mention
honors after posting a time of 1:54.60 to finish in 13th place.
Kristen
Simms, TCNJ
In the one-meter diving event, Simms picked up the fifth All-American
award of her career as she finished in eighth place with a score of
337.05. She then posted a score of 456.50 in the three-meter event to take
third place and sew up her sixth All-American citation. With six
All-American awards, Simms is the most decorated female diver in TCNJ
history.
Erin
Stutz, TCNJ
In the 400 Individual Medley, Stutz finished in 12th place to earn
All-America Honorable Mention honors.
TCNJ 200 Meter Relay Team
(Jessica Naumann, Lauren O’Donnell, Jennifer Sebastian, Aubrey Horvath)
The Lions finished in third place with a time of 1:36.21 to earn
All-American status. TCNJ also posted a school record time of 1:35.94 in
the trials. In addition, Horvath recorded the fastest split of any swimmer
in the competition with her time of 22.94.

400 Medley Relay Team
(Jessica Naumann, Erin Stutz, Lauren O’Donnell, Aubrey Horvath)
The Lions posted a time of 4:05.32 to take 16th place and earn
All-American Honorable Mention honors.
TCNJ 800 Freestyle Relay
(Erin Stutz, Jessica Naumann, Aubrey Horvath, Jennifer Sebastian)
The Lions posted a time of 7:51.16 to take 13th place in the timed trials
and earned All-American Honorable Mention honors while establishing a
school record in the process.
