CONDONE NAMED WOMEN'S SOCCER COACH
AT RUTGERS-NEWARK

Tom Condone, a New Jersey native who turned around both men's and women's soccer programs at colleges in Alabama and Tennessee, is the new women's soccer coach at Rutgers-Newark.  The Monmouth University graduate led Tennessee Wesleyan's women's soccer program to a second place finish in NAIA Region 12, and was named the Men's Soccer Coach in Region 12 in 2001.  The squads posted marks of 23-16-1 (women) and 26-14-3 (men) in two seasons.  Condone takes over a fledgling Scarlet Raiders women's program which enters its third season this fall after posting a 5-13 record in 2001.
