RAUBE NAMED ASSISTANT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR/
SENIOR WOMEN'S ADMINISTRATOR AT RUTGERS-CAMDEN

NORTH JERSEY NATIVE TO HELP ADMINISTER RAPTORS' 14-SPORT PROGRAM

On
December 1, 2003, Rutgers-Camden athletic director Jeff Dean named Patty Raube to the position of Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Women’s Administrator.

"She's passionate about the work she'll be doing in the athletic department," said Dean. "Her background in Division III makes her ideal for this position. She brings a high amount of energy to the job. She will be a tremendous help for all of us down here."

A North Jersey native, Raube is a 1998 graduate of Greensboro (NC) College, where she earned her bachelor's degree in physical education/sports medicine and was a goalie on the school's lacrosse and soccer teams. She holds the Greensboro career record for soccer saves with 339.

Following graduation from
Greensboro, she served as the head athletic trainer and assistant women's soccer coach at Grimsley High School in Greensboro, before attending graduate school at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. At Campbell, she served as the academic advisor for athletics from 2001-2003 while obtaining her Masters of Education in May, 2003.

Prior to starting at Rutgers-Camden, she served as a compliance assistant at Rutgers-New Brunswick.

"I'm very excited to be here," said Raube, an avid softball player who played scholastic soccer and softball at Belvidere High School. "It's been my dream to work in collegiate athletic administration. I'm looking forward to growing with the program."
