RUTGERS-CAMDEN BASEBALL CONDUCTS A
FREE CLINIC FOR CAMDEN AREA YOUTH

CLINIC HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
RUTGERS FAIRVIEW NEIGHBORHOOD PARTNERSHIP

The Rutgers University-Camden baseball team held a free clinic on February 29 for children of Camden’s Fairview neighborhood.

The three-hour clinic, held in the Rutgers-Camden gymnasium, featured members of the school’s team and coaching staff teaching baseball fundamentals to approximately 35 Little Leaguers.

The clinic was held in conjunction with the Rutgers Fairview Neighborhood Partnership (RFNP), a joint venture among community leaders, business owners, the Fairview Historic Society and Rutgers University professionals. RFNP provides local community, legal and business development services. The goal is to benefit the community by engaging resident input through volunteerism and participation.
