SEWARD NAMED HEAD FIELD HOCKEY COACH AT RICHARD STOCKTON

NEW JERSEY NATIVE NAMED SECOND HEAD COACH IN PROGRAM HISTORY

The Richard Stockton College Office of Athletics & Recreation has announced the hiring of Aimee Seward  to the position of head field hockey coach. "We are very pleased to have an extremely qualified person like Amy as part of the Stockton staff," said G. Larry James, Dean of Athletics and Recreational Programs and Services. "We look forward to her contributions to the continued growth and success of intercollegiate athletics at Stockton."

Seward, a New Jersey native, replaces MaryKate Madden who is getting married and relocating to northeast Pennsylvania. Seward was the head field hockey and head women's lacrosse coach at Elizabethtown College for the past two years. She also has experience as an assistant field hockey and women's lacrosse coach at Gettysburg College for two years and The College of Wooster (OH) for one season. As a player, Seward earned all-conference and all-region honors in both sports at Mary Washington College (VA). She assumes command of a Stockton program that went 6-12 in its inaugural 2003 season, which was highlighted by a 1-0 upset of The College of New Jersey while TCNJ was ranked first in the nation.
