BOYD & NJCU'S HUSSEY NAMED NJAC |

Individually, Boyd won the 55 Meter Dash (7.36), the 200 Meters (25.46) and the Long Jump (5.53m). The 2004-05 New Jersey Athletic Conference Female Athlete of the Year, Boyd wrapped up her NJAC Indoor career as an eight-time conference event champion, including a three-time NJAC Indoor champion in the 200 Meters.
Hussey sparked NJCU’s return to the NJAC by winning the 55 Meter Dash with a meet-record-tying time of 6.45. He also placed third in the 200 Meters (22.22) and was a member of both the NJAC Champion 4x200 Meter Relay team (1:28.35), and the Gothic Knights’ second place 4x400 Meter Relay squad (3:25.47).
NJCU senior sprinter Denay Caldwell was selected as the Outstanding Female Track Athlete of the Year after winning the 55 Meter Hurdles with a time of 8.38. She also placed third in the 200 Meters (26.56) and was a member of the Knights’ NJAC Champion 4x200 Meter Relay team (1:45.80).
Richard Stockton junior Lisa Chatman was named Outstanding Female Field Athlete of the Year after earning all-conference honors in four events. She placed second in the Long Jump (5.19m), second in the High Jump (1.53m), second in the 55 Meter Hurdles (8.83) and third in the 800 Meters (2:24.48).
Rowan senior Robert Godfrey was named Outstanding Male Field Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive season after winning the shot put with a mark of 16.49 meters. Gofrey is a three-time conference champion in the event and the conference record-holder.
Second-year TCNJ head coach Eric Mobley was selected as the NJAC Women’s Coach of the Year after guiding both the Lions’ men’s and women’s teams to their ninth consecutive conference crowns. NJCU second-year head coach Steven Royster was named Men’s Coach of the Year after guiding the Gothic Knight men to a second place overall finish.
