SOFTBALL COACHING VICTORY AT ROWAN


REACHES MILESTONE WITH AN 11-2 NJAC VICTORY OVER RICHARD STOCKTON


With an 11-2 road win  at Richard Stockton in the first game of an NJAC doubleheader on April 4, Prof head coach Kim Wilson collected her 300th win at Rowan.

In her 10 seasons at Rowan, Wilson has compiled a 301-104 mark. She has guided the Profs to three New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championships (2002, 2001 and 1998) and five NCAA Division III Championship Tournament appearances (2002, 2001, 1999, 1998 and 1997). Wilson was named the NJAC Coach of the Year in both 1998 and 1999. She was also the Atlantic Region Coach of the Year in 1998. Wilson’s career mark stands at 365-161 in 13 seasons. She currently ranks 20th in winning percentage (.694) among active coaches in Division III, while ranking 29th among active coaches in career victories (365).

Prior to Rowan, Wilson was the head softball coach at Washington & Jefferson College (PA) for six years, where she posted a record of 64-57. She also served as the head coach of the Presidents’ women’s soccer team. Wilson was selected as the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Softball Coach of the Year in both 1993 and 1996.
