STOCKTON'S WRIGHT INDUCTED INTO THE CIRCLE OF HONOR
AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA

NINE-TIME ALL-AMERICAN GYMNAST HONORED BY HER ALMA MATER

Corrinne Wright, who recently joined Stockton as Associate Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, has been named an inductee to the Circle of Honor at her Alma Mater, the University of Georgia.

Wright, who came to Stockton after four years as Assistant Commissioner of the 11-member Northeast Conference, has a variety of duties at Stockton, including helping the College and Athletes in all matters relating to NCAA compliance.

“We’re pleased to add Corrinne to our staff, and we’re thrilled she is being honored for her athletic achievements while at Georgia. She is in good company with the likes of (former pro football great) Herschel Walker and longtime football coach Vince Dooley,” said G. Larry James, Dean of Athletics, Recreation Programming and Services.

Wright graduated from Georgia in 1991 with a degree in Social Work. She added a Juris Doctorate from the New York Law School in 1996.

While at Georgia, she was a nine-time All-American in gymnastics who won NCAA championships in all-around and floor exercise in 1989. She helped lead the Bulldogs to two national gymnastics championships. She was also a member of the U.S. National team.
