Richard Stockton College head women’s basketball coach Joe Fussner has been elected to the Atlantic City High School Hall of Fame as part of its fourth class. Fussner was chosen in the coaches category for his success in separate stints as both the girls basketball coach and later boys basketball coach at Atlantic City.

Fussner served as the head girls basketball coach for the Vikings from 1974-81, winning two Group IV state championships, four South Jersey titles and seven Cape Atlantic League crowns in the process. He returned to the high school ranks as the head boys coach at Atlantic City from 1988-95. During that time, Fussner amassed a 144-24 record and won the Cape Atlantic League championship six times.
