RAMAPO'S MOSBY NAMED THE METROPOLITAN DIVISION III
MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

HONORED AT THE HAGGERTY AWARDS DINNER ON APRIL 10

Ramapo junior guard Ahmad Mosby was named the Metropolitan Division III Men’s College Basketball Player of the Year by the National Invitational Tournament and the Met Basketball Writers Association for the 2006-07 season. His selection was announced at the 74^th NIT/MBWA All-Met Haggerty Awards dinner which was held at Giants Stadium on April 10.  

Mosby led his team in scoring with an average of 14.7 points per game. He also led the NJAC with 142 assists, while ranking 52nd in Division III in assists per game.

A first-team NJAC all-conference selection, he led Ramapo to its second NJAC men's basketball championship with a come-from-behind 83-81 overtime victory over New Jersey City in the title game.

Mosby also was named first-team all-district by the National Association of Basketball Coaches in addition to being named first-team All-Met.
