MONTCLAIR STATE'S TALON HOSTS NIGHT FOR FAMILIES OF
CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES

RED HAWKS' TALON HOSTS CLUB DE PADRES NIGHT ON DECEMBER 14

Montclair State University Athletics and the TALON (Teaching Athletes Leadership Opportunities Now) hosted the Club de Padres Community group at the December 14 men’s basketball game against Rutgers-Camden.

Club de Padres is a local family & community organization out of Paterson, NJ that is host to families of children & adults with disabilities.
The group is no stranger to MSU athletics, but major supporters of the red & white.  During the winter months they have attended MSU Basketball “Open Gym Nights” held in Panzer Gymnasium. Their support proved valuable  in helping the Red Hawks to a victory as Montclair downed the Scarlet Raptors, 81-62.

In special thanks to Club de Padres, during halftime the group was recognized and given the opportunity to show off their basketball skills on the court along side several Montclair State student-athletes.

The TALON Toy Drive, which collected over a hundred toys and clothing, was donated to this group for the holiday season.
