McMullin earns the first NJAC Player of the Week honor
after hitting .400 with two doubles, three RBI, and three runs scored in
the Profs’ season-opening trip to Virginia. He opened his junior season by
going 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, and a run scored in the Profs’ 5-2
win over No. 1 ranked Cortland. One day later, he went 2-for-3 with a
double, two RBI and two runs scored in Rowan’s 9-8 extra-inning loss to
Randolph-Macon. McMullin currently is tied for the conference lead in
hitting with a .400 batting average. |

Kulik earns the first NJAC Pitcher of the Week honor
after earning a victory on the mound in the Profs’ season-opening 5-2 win
over No. 1 Cortland. In the victory, he surrendered just two hits and one
earned run in eight innings of work while striking out 11 and walking just
three. Kulik currently leads the NJAC in earned run average with a mark of
1.12. |

Reitemeyer earns the first NJAC Rookie of the Week
honor after hitting .300 with a double in the Scarlet Raiders’
season-opening three-game series at Trinity (TX). He hit safely in all
three contests and opened his collegiate career by going 1-for-2 with a
double and a walk in Newark’s season-opening contest. Reitemeyer currently
ranks seventh in the NJAC in hitting with a .300 batting average. |

Burdette earns the first NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the
Week selection after appearing in two games during the Profs’
season-opening trip to Virginia. He took the mound collegiate for the
first time in the Profs’ second game of the trip against Randolph-Macon
and pitched two-thirds-of-an-inning without allowing a baserunner. He also
pitched in the second half of the doubleheader and surrendered just one
hit and one unearned run in 1.1 innings of work. Burdette currently is
holding opposing hitters to a .167 batting average. |
