Gawlak earns NJAC Player of the Week honors after
hitting .471 (16-for-34) with three doubles, 17 RBI, and six runs scored
during eight games of the Lions’ Spring Trip to Phoenix, AZ. He hit safely
in seven-of-eight contests including a 4-for-5 performance with a double
and two RBI in an 8-3 victory over No. 3 Cortland. He also knocked in at
least one run in seven-of-eight games and produced four multiple-RBI games
including a 2-for-5 performance with a double and five RBI in an 8-7 loss
to Keene State. Gawlak, who did not commit an error in eight contests
played on the trip, registered six multiple-hit games to help the Lions
post a 6-2 record during the week. |

Kulik earns NJAC Pitcher of the Week honors for the
second time this season after recording a pair of victories on the mound
for the Profs. He first surrendered just three hits and no walks in six
innings of work while tying a school-record with 15 strikeouts in Rowan’s
7-0 blanking of Alvernia. He wrapped up the week by surrendering just
three hits and one earned run in four innings of work while striking out
five for his second victory of the week in a 17-8 win over
Massachusetts-Liberal Arts in the first game of the Profs’ Spring Trip to
Florida. With the two wins, Kulik improved his record to 3-0 overall on
the season. |

Connors earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the
second consecutive week after hitting .391 (9-for-23) with two RBI and
three runs scored during five contests for the Scarlet Raiders. He hit
safely in three-of-four games including a 3-for-5 performance with a RBI
and a run scored in an 11-1 win over No. 12 Eastern Connecticut during
Newark’s Spring Trip to California. He wrapped up the week by going
4-for-5 with two runs scored in Newark’s 13-7 victory over No. 19
Redlands. Connors committed just one error in 31 chances during the week
for a .968 fielding percentage at his second base position. |

Lightbody becomes the second different Roadrunner to
earn NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week honors after recording saves in three
consecutive appearances during Ramapo’s Spring Trip to Florida. In
Roadrunner wins against Westfield State, Transylvania, and Messiah, he
logged a combined four innings while surrendering just three hits and no
earned runs for three saves in a four-day span. He notched a combined
eight strikeouts in the three appearances while surrendering just two
walks to help Ramapo post a 5-2 record during its Florida Trip. |
