Urbanovich becomes the second different Prof to earn
NJAC Player of the Week honors after hitting .667 (12-for-18) with five
doubles, nine RBI, and eight runs scored in five games during the Profs’
Spring Trip to Florida. He hit safely in all five contests and produced
three multiple-hit games including a 2-for-4 performance with a double,
two runs scored, and a stolen base in Rowan’s 7-6 10-inning win over SUNY
Plattsburgh. He wrapped up the trip by going 5-for-6 with two doubles,
four RBI, and three runs scored in a 16-4 win over Albright. Urbanovich
currently ranks fifth in the NJAC in on-base percentage (.556). |

Campbell becomes the second different Cougar to earn
NJAC Pitcher of the Week honors after collecting two wins and a save in
three appearances during the week for Kean. He first surrendered just two
hits and no runs in three innings to earn a save in Kean’s 9-6 Spring Trip
win over Redlands. Upon returning home, he earned the win in game one of a
doubleheader with Keystone by surrendering just three hits and no runs in
4.2 innings of work while striking out seven in an 8-7 extra-inning
victory. He also earned the win in the second game of the Keystone
doubleheader by allowing just one hit and no runs in 2.2 innings of work
for another 8-7 victory. Campbell, who did not surrender a run in 10.1
total innings of work, currently ranks tied for third in the NJAC in saves
(2). |

Connors earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the
third consecutive week after hitting .450 (9-for-20) with 11 runs scored
in five games during the Scarlet Raiders’ Spring Trip to California. He
hit safely in 4-of-5 games and scored at least one run in all five
contests. In a 6-5 victory over No. 18 Redlands, he singled with two outs
in the 10th inning and scored the eventual winning run. He produced three
multiple-hit games during the week, including a 4-for-5 performance with
one RBI, and four runs scored in Newark’s 17-9 win over Whittier in the
final game of their Spring Trip. Connors currently ranks tied for second
in the NJAC in runs scored (17). |

Lopez earns NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week honors
after garnering his first collegiate victory on the mound in the Gothic
Knights’ 14-3 non-conference win over Baruch. He surrendered just five
hits and no runs in seven innings of work while walking three and striking
out 10. Lopez, who departed the game with NJCU leading 11-0 after a
116-pitch outing, currently ranks tied for sixth in the NJAC in strikeouts
(19). |
