Gianakas earns NJAC Player of the Week honors for the
second consecutive week after hitting .562 (9-for-16) with two doubles,
one triple, three home runs, seven RBI, and six runs scored in a 3-1 week
of NJAC play for the Cougars. He produced multiple-hit games in three
contests including a 3-for-5 performance with a triple, two RBI, and one
run scored in Kean’s 12-8 league win over William Paterson. In a NJAC road
doubleheader at Richard Stockton, he first went 4-for-5 with a double, two
home runs, four RBI, and three runs scored in a game one defeat to the
Ospreys. He wrapped up the week by going 2-for-4 with a double, a home
run, one RBI and two runs scored in the Cougars’ 12-9 game two win.
Gianakas currently leads the NJAC in slugging percentage (.918), runs
scored (35), RBI (37), home runs (11) and total bases (90). |

Kulik earns NJAC Pitcher of the Week honors for the
third time this season after leading the Profs to a 5-0 NJAC shutout win
over William Paterson. In the victory, he surrendered just one hit and one
walk while striking out 12 to improve his record to 5-2 overall on the
season. The Pioneers’ only hit came in the seventh inning as he recorded
his first complete game and first shutout of the season. Kulik currently
leads the NJAC in strikeouts (79), innings pitched (50.0), and starts (8). |

Giermanski earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after
hitting .556 (5-for-9) with a home run in a pair of victories during the
week for the Lions. In the first start of his career, he went 3-for-5 with
two RBI in TCNJ’s 7-5 non-conference win over Albright. Two days later in
the first NJAC start of his career, he went 2-for-4 with a grand slam,
five RBI, and two runs scored in a 20-0 NJAC blanking of NJCU. In five
games played for the Lions on the season, Giermanski is currently hitting
.364 with a home run, a stolen base, seven RBI, and four runs scored. |

McDonough earns NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week honors
for the third time this season after surrendering just one earned run in
11.2 combined innings during three appearances on the week. He opened the
week by tossing a scoreless inning of relief while striking out two in the
Roadrunners’ 26-2 non-conference win over CCNY. One day later, he pitched
1.2 innings of scoreless relief while striking out three in Ramapo’s 4-3
NJAC loss to Rowan. He wrapped up the week by leading the Roadrunners to
their first league win of the season after surrendering just seven hits
and one earned run while striking out nine in a complete-game 4-1 NJAC
road win at Montclair State to improve his record to 4-1 on the season.
McDonough currently ranks third in the NJAC in innings pitched (40.0). |
