Giuliano earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors
after sparking the Red Dragons’ to a season-opening 71-7 victory over
Morrisville State. He opened his junior season by rushing 16 times for 247
yards and three touchdowns in the win. His 247 rushing yards marked the
second highest single-game ground output in school history. He registered
touchdown runs of 73, 58, and 14 yards, and also blocked a punt which was
returned for a Cortland touchdown. Giuliano currently leads the NJAC in
all-purpose yards per game (284.0). |

Hunt earns NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors
after recording his eighth double-digit tackle game in the last 11 MSU
contests during the Red Hawks’ 14-7 road win at Wilkes. He collected 12
tackles, including two tackles for a total loss of six yards. He was a key
member of a Montclair defensive unit that held the Colonels to just 55
yards rushing in the contest. Hunt currently ranks second in the NJAC in
tackles per game (12.0). |

Mintz earns NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week
honors after registering 11 points in Cortland’s 71-7 win over Morrisville
State. In the final seconds of a weather-delayed first half, he connected
on a career-long 40-yard field goal to extend the Red Dragons’ lead to
24-7. He also was a perfect 8-for-8 on extra point attempts in the game
despite slick and rainy field conditions. Mintz currently leads all NJAC
kickers in points scored per game (11.0). |

Russell earns NJAC Offensive Rookie of the Week honors
after playing a key role in the Red Dragons’ season-opening victory over
Morrisville State. In his first collegiate game, he rushed six times for
42 yards and two touchdowns. His scoring runs of 10 and 8 yards were part
of a Cortland rushing attack that produced a total of 362 yards on the
ground in the victory. Russell currently ranks ninth in the NJAC in
rushing yards per game (42.0). |

Lauda earns NJAC Defensive Rookie of the Week honors in
just his second collegiate game. In a non-conference road loss to
Albright, he notched two tackles and a fumble recovery for eight yards.
Through two games of the season, Lauda has notched five solo tackles, a
fumble recovery, and an interception. |
