Rivera earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors
after helping William Paterson improve to 2-0 on the season with a 41-12
non-conference road victory at USMMA-Kings Point. In the win, he
registered six receptions for 109 yards and four touchdowns. His touchdown
receptions of 21, 11, 21, and 25 yards were key to the Pioneers generating
of 454 total yards of offense in the victory. Rivera, who is only in his
second season of playing organized football, currently is tied for the
conference lead in scoring (12.0 points per game). |

Hunt earns NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for
the second consecutive week after leading the Red Hawks to a 33-30 victory
over No. 9 Springfield. He collected a game-high 20 tackles in the win,
including nine solo stops, while helping to hold Springfield’s triple
option offense to just 282 total yards. His 20-tackle performance fell
just two shy of Sam Mills’ record of 22 set against Southern Connecticut
in 1979. Hunt currently leads the NJAC in tackles with an average of 16.0
per game. |

Capozzoli becomes the third different kicker to earn
NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors after contributing to
Montclair’s 33-30 win over No. 9 Springfield. In the victory, he connected
on a pair of field goals and added three extra points for nine total
points in his second collegiate game. He connected on his first career
field goal attempt, a 39-yard effort early in the game before adding a
37-yard field goal late in the third quarter to extend the MSU lead.
Capozzoli currently ranks second in the NJAC in field goals made per game
(1.00). |

Neal earns NJAC Offensive Rookie of the Week honors
after helping spark the Colonials to their first victory of the season, a
44-16 non-conference road win at Morrisville State. He garnered 141 yards
rushing on just 11 caries for an average of 12.8 yards per attempt. He
also added a pair of touchdowns runs of 43 and 53 yards in the victory.
Neal currently ranks fourth in the NJAC in rushing with an average of
107.0 yards per game. |

Biddle earns NJAC Defensive Rookie of the Week honors
for the second time this season after contributing to the Pioneers’ 41-12
non-conference road win at USMMA-Kings Point. In the victory, he notched
seven total tackles, including one tackle for a loss of two yards. He also
had two pass break-ups and an interception on USMMA’s first drive of the
game which he returned 19 yards. Biddle, who also blocked a Kings Point
extra point attempt which he returned for two points, currently ranks
ninth in the NJAC in tackles with an average of 8.0 per game. |
