Miles becomes the second different Red Dragon to earn
NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading Cortland to a 30-27
victory over rival Buffalo State in the first NJAC contest of the season.
In the win, he completed 19-of-36 passes for 304 yards and four
touchdowns. Trailing in the contest 17-0, he rallied his team with
touchdown strikes of 15, 36, 37 and 3 yards, the last of which proved to
be the game-winning score midway through the fourth quarter. Miles, who
registered career highs in both passing yards and touchdowns on the day,
currently ranks fourth in the NJAC in passing yards per game with a mark
of 167.7. |

King earns NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for
the second time this season after propelling the Lions to a
come-from-behind 13-12 road win at Division I Football Championship
Subdivision opponent LaSalle. In the victory, he recorded eight total
tackles, including six solo stops, two sacks for a loss of 21 yards, and
four tackles for a loss of 35 yards. He was a key cog in a Lion defensive
unit that held the Explorers to just 196 yards of total offense and 64
rushing yards in the game. King currently leads the NJAC in both sacks
(6.0) and tackles for a loss (11.0). |

Bliss becomes the second consecutive Red Hawk to earn
NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors after contributing to a 27-26
road win at No. 6 Wesley which snapped the Wolverines’ 23-game home
winning-streak. He returned three kickoffs for a total of 142 yards and an
average of 47.6 yards per return. Two-of-his-three returns set up
Montclair touchdowns including an 89-yard return for a touchdown to open
the second half which proved to be the game-winning score. His 89-yard
touchdown return was the longest for MSU since a 90-yard effort in the
1999 NCAA Tournament. |

Hagerty becomes the second different Prof to earn NJAC
Offensive Rookie of the Week honors after leading the Profs to a 41-0
non-conference victory over Widener. In his first collegiate start, he
completed 9-of-24 passes for 116 yards and two scoring strikes of 18 and 9
yards each. He also rushed 14 times for 65 yards and two touchdowns.
Hagerty, who was responsible for 4-of-the-5 Profs’ touchdowns in the win,
currently ranks third in the NJAC in passer efficiency rating with a mark
of 132.0. |

Haas earns NJAC Defensive Rookie of the Week honors
after contributing to the Red Dragons’ 30-27 win over Buffalo State. In
the first NJAC game of his career, he notched a team-high 12 tackles,
including five solo stops. He also recorded two tackles for a loss of nine
yards and one sack for a loss of seven. Haas currently ranks 32nd in the
NJAC in tackles with an average of 5.0 per game. |
