OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK  

A.J. Letizia, Montclair State University

Letizia earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after helping the Red Hawks earn their first NJAC victory with a 41-22 win over Buffalo State. In the contest, he garnered five receptions for a career-high 151 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged 30.2 yards per reception and delivered a number of big plays for the Montclair offense including touchdown receptions of 76 and 22 yards. Letizia currently ranks third in the NJAC in receiving yards per game with an average of 77.6.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

King earns NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the third time this season after leading the Lions to a 10-7 NJAC road win over archrival Rowan. The leader of a Lion defensive unit that held Rowan scoreless in three-of-four quarters, he registered 11 total tackles, including 1.5 sacks and three tackles for a loss. He also recorded two pass breakups and one fumble recovery in the win which improved TCNJ to 2-0 in the NJAC. King currently leads the NJAC in both sacks and tackles for a loss per game with respective averages of 1.60 and 3.10.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK  

Matthew Mintz, SUNY Cortland

Mintz earns NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after playing a key role in the Red Dragons’ 35-14 NJAC road win at Kean. He was a perfect 5-for-5 on PAT attempts to improve his season total to a perfect 25-for-25. His 69 consecutive PATs also broke the Cortland school record of 67 straight conversions. Mintz, who also provided his team with two touchbacks on kickoffs, currently leads the NJAC in PAT kicking percentage (100.0).

OFFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Neal earns NJAC Offensive Rookie of the Week honors for the third time this season and the second consecutive week after sparking the Colonials to their first NJAC victory of the season with a 27-20 win over William Paterson. In the contest, he rushed 22 times for 149 yards and a one-yard touchdown. He also notched three receptions for 27 yards in the win. Neal currently leads the NJAC in rushing with an average of 110.2 yards per game.

DEFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Haas earns NJAC Defensive Rookie of the Week honors for the third consecutive week after helping the Red Dragons improve to 3-0 in the NJAC with a 35-14 road win at Kean. He notched a team-high nine tackles in the win which helped Cortland maintain its hold on first place in the NJAC standings. Haas currently ranks 20th in the NJAC in tackles with an average of 6.4 per game.
