Broomfield becomes the second
consecutive Cougar to earn NJAC Offensive Player honors after tallying
five points in a 2-0 week for Kean. She opened the week by registering a
goal and an assist in the Cougars' 5-0 win over NJAC-rival Richard
Stockton. She wrapped up the week by netting the game-winning score in
Kean's 2-0 non-conference victory over Johns Hopkins to improve the
Cougars to 6-2 overall on the season. Broomfield currently ranks tied for
second in the NJAC in both total points (14) and total goals (6). |

Apicelli
becomes the first Red Hawk to earn NJAC Defensive honors after tallying 17
saves in a 1-1 week for No. 5 ranked Montclair State. She opened the week
by making six saves, including a stop of a penalty stroke, in the Red
Hawks' 2-1 non-conference loss to Manhattanville. She wrapped up the week
by posting 11 saves in Montclair's 2-0 shutout win over No. 8 ranked Rowan
which earned the Red Hawks their first victory over the Profs since 1996.
Apicelli currently ranks third among all NJAC goaltenders with a 0.98
goals against average. |

Taylor
becomes the first Cougar to garner NJAC Rookie honors after scoring a goal
in each of Kean's two victories during the week. She notched her first
career goal in Kean's 5-0 NJAC victory over Richard Stockton. She then
added a second half insurance goal in the Cougars' 2-0 blanking of Johns
Hopkins. In eight games played for Kean, Taylor is currently tied for
fourth on the Cougar team statistics with two goals. |
