Tanis earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the third time this season and the second consecutive week after notching seven points in a 2-0 week of non-conference play for the Red Hawks. She opened the week by tallying a goal and an assist in Montclair’s 5-0 road win at Drew. She wrapped up the week by registering two goals in MSU’s 3-1 win over Mount Holyoke. In the two contests, she broke Montclair records for goals in a season, points in a season, and career goal scored. Tanis currently leads the NJAC in goals (22), assists (14), and points (58).

Melissa Buttray,  The College of New Jersey

Buttray becomes the fourth different Lion to earn NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after contributing both offensively and defensively to TCNJ’s 5-0 NJAC victory over Richard Stockton. On the offensive end, she tallied a goal for her seventh score of the season. Defensively at her midfield position, she anchored a unit that held Richard Stockton without a shot in the contest. Buttray is a key contributor to a Lion defense that leads the NJAC with a 0.94 team goals against average.

Barry earns NJAC Rookie honors for the second consecutive week after collecting 12 saves in the Cougars’ 2-1 NJAC loss to Rowan. Included in her 12 stops was a diving save of second half penalty stroke which kept the game tied at 1-1. Barry currently leads the NJAC in save percentage with a mark of .841.
