OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK  

Amber Scott, William Paterson University
Sophomore, Forward
Palmyra, NJ/Palmyra

Scott earns the first NJAC Offensive Player of the Week selection after tallying goals in both of the Pioneers’ first two contests of the season. She opened her sophomore campaign by notching her first career goal in a 3-2 season-opening loss to Wesley. One day later, she added her second career goal in a 2-0 win over Manhattanville. Scott currently is tied for the conference lead in goals scored (2).

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK  

Jenna Gallo, Montclair State University
Junior, Back
Voorhees, NJ/Eastern

Gallo earns the first NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honor after contributing both offensively and defensively in the Red Hawks’ season-opening 9-1 win over Morrisville State. Defensively, she was part of a MSU unit that held Morrisville to just one shot in the contest. Offensively, she registered a second half goal and an assist off a penalty corner in the first half for three points in the first contest of her junior season. Gallo currently ranks tied for sixth in the NJAC in points per game (3.00).

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK  

Brandee Brown, Kean University
Freshman, Forward
South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield

Brown earns the first NJAC Rookie of the Week selection after sparking the Cougars to a season-opening 3-0 road victory at Castleton State. In the first game of her collegiate career, she netted the game-winning goal for Kean. Her first collegiate goal off of a penalty corner in the 36th minute proved to be the game-winner. Brown currently ranks tied for sixth in the NJAC in goals per game (1.00).
