Winkelspecht becomes the second different Pioneer to
earn NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after tallying five points
in a 2-1 week of play for William Paterson. She first tallied a goal and
an assist for three points in the Pioneers’ 3-1 non-conference road win at
Eastern. Three days later, she netted the game-winning goal in Paterson’s
6-0 NJAC victory over Richard Stockton, Winkelspecht, who also moved to
the goaltender position and saved a penalty stroke in the win over
Eastern, has registered seven points in 10 games played on the season for
William Paterson. |

Barry earns NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors
after recording a pair of shutous in goal for the Cougars. She first
collected two saves in Kean’s 4-0 NJAC shutout of conference rival Ramapo.
She wrapped up the week by notching three saves for her second consecutive
shutout in a 2-0 non-conference road win at St. Vincent. Barry currently
leads the NJAC in both shutouts (4) and goals against average (0.81). |

Mitchell earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after
tallying five points in a pair of victories for the Lions. She opened the
week by notching the first goal of the game in TCNJ’s 3-2 NJAC road win
over previously-unbeaten Montclair State. She wrapped up the week by
registering a goal and an assist for three points in the Lions’ 7-0
non-conference victory over Manhattanville. Mitchell has recorded nine
total points in seven games played for TCNJ on the season. |
