PITMAN—The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced on December 2 that Rutgers-Camden's Mark Gidjunis and Richard Stockton's Sean Nelson have been named to 2009 ESPN the Magazine College Division District 2 All-Academic Team. Their selections were made by a vote of the CoSIDA membership.

CAPE COD (MA)—The Eastern College Athletic Conference announced on December 2 that Rowan University men's soccer goalkeeper Charlie Cunliffe was selected as the ECAC Metro Region Defensive Player of the Year. Cunliffe was one of 11 NJAC men's soccer players who were named ECAC Division III Metro Region All-Star for the 2009 season. All selections were made by ECAC staff members.

POMONA--On October 24, the Stockton men’s and women’s soccer teams hosted a clinic for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic & Cape May Counties prior to the Stockton men’s soccer home game against Kean. Approximately 22 youngsters from the Big Brothers Big Sisters program participated along with players and coaches from the Stockton teams.

MAHWAH--The Ramapo College men's soccer team, along with volunteers from the Mahwah community, hosted the Street Soccer NYC Team on November 15. The Roadrunners participated in a community service project for the homeless players of Street Soccer, which included a friendly soccer match followed by a dinner catered by friends and families of the Ramapo program and the Mahwah community.

PITMAN—The National Collegiate Athletic Association and the Eastern College Athletic Conference announced that 13 NJAC teams have earned postseason bids following the release of their 2009 NCAA and ECAC Postseason Championship Tournament brackets in the sports of men’s soccer, women’s soccer, field hockey, and volleyball on November 9.

MONTCLAIR---A goal by MSU senior back William Griffin in the 16th minute proved to be the only scoring as top-seeded Montclair State captured the 2009 NJAC Men's Soccer Championship with a 1-0 victory over third-seeded Rowan in the NJAC title match. The victory gave the Red Hawks their fourth consecutive NJAC crown, and their 10th conference title in program history.

PITMAN--After earning an at-large selection to the NCAA Tournament en route to a 16-6-1 overall record in 2008, Richard Stockton College has been selected as the 2009 preseason men's soccer favorite in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. The Ospreys, who finished second in the NJAC last season with a 7-2-0 league mark, are seeking their sixth conference crown since 1996.
