| The Gothic Knight women traveled to New York City to compete at the Collegiate Track Conference Indoor Championships at the Armory on February 8. The NJCU 4x400 meter relay team of senior Angela Gray, sophomore Andrea Herbert, junior Sandra Bethea and senior Diana Lawson broke a school record and recorded the fastest time in the nation with a mark of 3:54.32. Lawson captured first place in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.12. Herbert captured first place in the triple jump with a leap of 11.60 meters. Bethea finished second in the triple jump with an NCAA provisional leap of 11.29 meters, while Gray finished third in the 400 meters with an ECAC qualifying time of 59.86. The Gothic Knight women finished sixth as a team in a 21-school field. | The Gothic Knight men also competed at the CTC Championships on February 8. Sophomore Jonnie Taylor captured first place in both the 55-meter hurdles and the high jump with respective school record marks of 7.86 and 2.03 meters. With his successful high jump, he provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships. Freshman Hyron Griffith claimed first place in the long jump with a school record mark of 6.93 meters. Freshman Marvin Joseph finished seventh in the 500 meters with a school record time of 1:08.26, while freshman David Perez placed 10th in the 3,000 meters in a school record time of 9:26.90. The NJCU 4x200 meter relay team of Griffith, Taylor, Joseph and sophomore Jose Camacho qualified for the ECAC Championships with a time of 1:35.11. The Gothic Knight men finished ninth as a team in a 24-school field. |

| The Roadrunner women traveled to Collegeville, PA to compete at the Ursinus Invitational on February 7. Freshman Grace Helbig placed 20th in the long jump with a mark of 14 feet, 2.5 inches. | The Roadrunner men also traveled to compete at the Ursinus Invitational on February 7. Junior Dennis McCown captured first place in the shot put with a throw of 45' 3". Sophomore Rustin Finelle placed seventh with a throw of 41' 1/4", while freshman David Chudy and sophomore Darren McLaughlin placed 12th and 26th respectively with throws of 37' 6-3/4" and 14' 2-1/2". |

| The Osprey women traveled to the CTC Championships at the Armory on February 8. Senior Kim Marino finished first in the pole vault with a successful attempt at 3.97 meters. Sophomore Justine Fugowski placed fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 2.60 meters, while junior Tiffany Masurh took fourth in the weight throw with a mark of 12.01 meters. Freshman Audra Schappell placed fourth in the shot put with a mark of 10.32 meters, while freshman Laura Ulmer placed fifth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.76. | The Lion women traveled to Lawrenceville, NJ to compete in the Mercer County Duals on February 7. Sophomore Brittny Boyd captured first place finishes in the 55-meter dash (7.4), the 200 meters (26.09) and the 400 meters (58.80). Senior Beth Vesey won the mile in a time of 5:07.67, while freshman Grace Nuzzi won the 3,000 meters in a time of 11:09.67. Senior Erin Cahill captured the 5,000 meters in a time of 18:45.62, while sophomore Lauren Detrick won both the high jump and pole vault with respective marks of 1.60 and 3.05 meters. Sophomore Alisa Vetter won the triple jump with a mark of 10.78 meters. The Lion women defeated NCAA Division I Rider University in the meet, 104-84. | The Lion men also competed at the Mercer County Duals on February 7. Senior Brian Brach won both the 3,000 and 5,000 meters with respective times of 9:04.72 and 16:02.13. Senior Kevin Semanick placed first in the 400 meters with a time of 50.23, while sophomore Dan McDonald won the mile in a time of 4:25.74. Freshman Jeff Zodda placed first in the 800 meters with a time of 1:54.79, while junior Ed Marlon captured the high jump with a leap of 2.0 meters. Junior Brian Wanner captured the pole vault with a mark of 4.25 meters, while sophomore Jeff Schwerdtman won the shot put with a mark of 15.19 meters. The Lion men also defeated Rider, 109-80. |
