The Red Hawk women traveled to New York to compete at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational at the Armory on February 13-14. Sophomore Hashan Johnson finished first in her flight of the long jump with a mark of 5.77 meters.
 
The Red Hawk men competed at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational at the Armory on February 13-14. Freshman Lance Wigfall placed fourth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 47.07. The MSU 4x400 meter relay team placed second in its heat with a time of 3:18.69.

The Gothic Knight women traveled to Lewisburg, PA to compete at the Bucknell Invitational on February 14. Senior Diana Lawson broke her own school record in the 60-meter dash and defeated a 37-runner Division I field with a winning time of 7.54. Lawson also placed second in heat one of the 200 meters with a time of 24.90. Senior Angela Gray placed fourth overall in the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.56. Sophomore Andrea Herbert and junior Sandra Bethea placed second and ninth respectively in the triple jump with marks of 11.55 and 10.49 meters. Bethea also won section five of the 200 meters with a time of 27.27. Freshman Terez Tala broke a school record in the 1,000 meters with a time of 3:31.94. Tala also placed 17th in the 3,000 meters with a time of 12:21.68. The Gothic Knight men also competed at the Bucknell Invitational on February 14. Freshman Hyron Griffith leaped 7.11 meters in the long jump to break the NJCU school record for the second week in a row. Griffith also won section four of the 200 meters with a time of 23.82. Sophomore Jonnie Taylor defeated a Division I field in the high jump with a leap of 6 feet, five inches. Taylor also broke his own school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.53. Sophomore Jose Camacho posted a time of 54.36 to place second in the sixth section of the 400 meters. Freshman Marvin Joseph posted a time of 1:09.79 in the 500 meters, while freshman Chris Smiga posted a time of 2:07.12 in the 800 meters. Sophomore Joseph Carroll posted a time of 17:29.38 in the 5,000 meters.

The Roadrunner women traveled to the New York Armory's Thursday Night at the Races on February 12. Sophomore Rebecca Maneen posted a time of 1:11.7 in the 400 meters. Sophomore Adriana Aliotto posted a time of 2:30.5 in the 800 meters.    The Roadrunner men also traveled to compete at the Armory's Thursday Night at the Races on February 12. Freshman Lou Albano placed fifth in the mile with a time of 4:26.1. Freshman Chris Woodford posted a time of 53.3 in the 400 meters, while Albano recorded a time of 53.8. Freshman Ron Hatcher posted a time of 2:04.7 in the 800 meters, while freshman Rob Geran posted a time of 10:41.7 in the two-mile run.

Osprey senior Kim Marino finished second in the pole vault at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational at the Armory on February 14. One of only two NCAA Division III athletes in the field, she cleared a height of 12 feet, 3.5 inches. The remaining 12 competitors represented NCAA Division I institutions.

The Lion women traveled to New York to compete at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational at the Armory on February 13-14. The Lion 4x400 relay team of sophomore Brittny Boyd, sophomore Kate Powell, freshman Angela Tecco and sophomore Tiffany Clark broke a school record with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 3:54.21. The Lion distance medley relay team of junior Jennifer Zucaro, freshman Emily Dalton, senior Lauren Ricci and senior Lindsay Scarborough placed sixth with a time of 12:27.13. In the 400 meters, both Boyd and Clark posted NCAA provisional times of 58.33 and 58.36. Senior Beth Vesey posted a third place finish in the 5,000 meters with an NCAA provisional time of 17:11.25. Senior Erin Cahill posted a time of 10:30.43 in the 3,000 meters, while sophomore Kara Horner posted a time of 5:17.91 in the mile. Sophomore Bobbi Jo Leighty posted a mark of 11.86 in the shot put, while sophomore Erika Huggler finished with a time of 9.47 in the 60-meter hurdles. The Lion men also competed at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational at the Armory on February 13-14. The Lion distance medley relay team of freshman Jeff Zodda, senior Andrew Bordieri, junior Matt Molski and sophomore Dan McDonald finished seventh with a time of 10:14.66. Junior Eric Gross posted a time of 4:21.35 in the mile. In the 60-meter dash, sophomore Steve Andrews and senior Joe Gargione posted times of 7.03 and 7.16 respectively. In the 60-meter hurdles, freshmen Ed Young and Cory Schoonover posted time of 8.69 and 8.90 respectively. Freshman Colin Pierce posted a mark of 13.39 meters in the triple jump, while junior Brian Wanner placed 10th in the pole vault with a mark of 4.35 meters. Sophomore Chris Tranchina posted a mark of 13.44 meters in the shot put.
