The Red Hawk women traveled to West Orange, NJ to
compete at the Seton Hall Last Chance Meet on February 29. Sophomore
Hashan Johnson won the long jump with a mark of 5.70 meters Johnson also
finished sixth in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.68. |
The Red Hawk men competed at the Seton Hall Last Chance Meet on February 29. Freshman Lance Wigfall placed first in the 500 meters. Wigfall was also a member of Montclair's winning 4x400 meter relay team. |

| The Gothic Knight women traveled to New York for the New York University Last Chance Meet on February 27. Senior Diana Lawson defeated a field of Division I sprinters to win the 60 meter dash in a time of 7.57. Freshman Terez Tala finished eighth in the 1000 meters with a school record time of 3:23.91. Junior Sandra Bethea placed third in the triple jump and eighth in the long jump with respective marks of 11.07 and 5.31 meters. Senior Angela Gray placed 18th in the 400 meters with a time of 59.85. | The Gothic Knight men also competed at the New York University Last Chance Meet on February 27. Freshman Hyron Griffith leaped 7.07 meters in the long jump to finish fourth. The NJCU distance medley relay team of freshman David Perez, junior Carlos Franco, freshman Chris Smiga and sophomore Joseph Carroll broke a school record with a time of 11:01.12. Freshman Terry Pearson posted respective times of 7.12 and 50.95 in the 60 and 400 meter dashes. Perez and Carroll finished 18th and 19th respectively in the 1000 meters with times of 2:48.94 and 2:49.14. |

| The Lion women traveled to New York to compete at New York University's Last Chance Meet on February 27. Sophomore Alisa Vetter broke the school record and finished third in the triple jump with a leap of 10.82 meters. The Lions distance medley relay team of senior Lindsay Scarborough, junior Jennifer Zucaro, senior Lauren Ricci and freshman Angela Tecco broke a school record with a time of 12:19.01. The TCNJ 4x400 meter relay team of sophomore Kate Powell, Tecco, sophomore Tiffany Clark and sophomore Brittny Boyd posted an NCAA provisional time of 3:54.51. Both Boyd and Clark posted NCAA provisional times in the 400 meters with respective sixth and seventh place finishes in times of 57.59 and 57.95. Sophomore Erika Huggler placed seventh in the 60 meter hurdles with an NCAA provisional time of 9.22, while sophomore Kara Horner placed third in the mile run with a time of 5:14.10. | The Lion men also competed at New York University's Last Chance Meet on February 27. Junior Matt Molski placed fifth in the mile run with a school record time of 4:13.59. Sophomore Steve Andrews posted an NCAA automatic qualifying time in the 60 meter dash and broke the TCNJ school record with a time of 6.89. The Lion 4x400 meter relay team of senior Kevin Semanick, junior Tim Wilson, senior Andrew Bordieri and sophomore Mike Stomiany placed fourth with an NCAA provisional time of 3:17.60. Freshman Jeff Zodda posted an NCAA provisional time of 1:54.13 in the 800 meters. Sophomore Chris Tranchina placed sixth in the shot put with a mark of 14.99 metes, while senior Brian Brach posted a time of 14:56.81 in the 5,000 meters. Junior Bill Vogel placed sixth in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:30.06. |
