| Select members of the Red Hawk men's team traveled to Wisconsin-Whitewater for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on March 12-13. The Montclair 4x400 meter relay team of senior Ed Hamilton, sophomore Jerome Morgan, sophomore Paul Noel and freshman Travis Yancey earned All-American honors by placing fourth with a time of 3:18.45. | |

| Select members of the Gothic Knight women's team traveled to Whitewater, WI for the NCAA Division III National Championships hosted by Wisconsin-Whitewater on March 12-13. NJCU finished a school-best 14th as a team with 13.0 points. Senior Diana Lawson became only the second sprinter ever to win the 55 meter dash three times in a four-year career. She won the event in an NCAA record time of 6.97. Lawson also earned All-American honors in the 4x400 meter relay along with sophomore Andrea Herbert, junior Sandra Bethea, and senior Angela Gray as they finished sixth in a time of 3:55.09. | Select members of the Gothic Knight men's team also traveled to Wisconsin-Whitewater for the NCAA Division III National Championships. Freshman Hyron Griffith became the first All-American in the history of the NJCU men's program when he placed sixth in the long jump with a leap of 6.91 meters. |

| Senior Kim Marino traveled to Whitewater, WI to compete in the NCAA Division III National Championships on March 12-13. Marino earned All-American honors in the pole vault for the fourth time in her career by finishing second with a mark of 12 feet, 11 inches. After both Marino and eventual champion Amanda Haines of Adrian College (MI) both cleared the 12 feet, 11 inch mark, both competitors were unsuccessful at attempts at 13 feet, five inches. Haines was declared the winner on the tiebreaker of fewer missed attempts. | |

| Select members of the Lion women's team traveled to Whitewater, WI to compete at the NCAA Division III National Championships on March 12-13. TCNJ placed 10th as a team with 16.0 points. Sophomore Brittny Boyd placed seventh in the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.36. Earlier in the meet, Boyd set a new school record with a time of 7.23 in the 55 meter dash preliminaries. The Lion 4x400 meter relay team of Boyd, freshman Angela Tecco, sophomore Kate Powell, and sophomore Tiffany Clark earned All-American honors with a third place finish in a time of 3:53.67. Senior Beth Vesey earned All-American honors for the third time in her career in the 5,000 meter run with a second place finish in a time of 17:17.30. | Select members of the Lion men's team also traveled to Wisconsin-Whitewater for the NCAA National Championships. TCNJ placed 28th as a team with six points. Sophomore Steve Andrews earned All-American honors in the 55 meter dash with a third place finish in a time of 6.39 seconds. Earlier in the qualifying trials, Andrews set a new school record in the 55 meter dash with a time of 6.37. The Lion distance medley relay team of junior Bill Vogel, freshman Ed Young, freshman Jeff Zodda and junior Matt Molski earned All-American honors with an eighth place finish in a time of 10:09.27. |
