The Osprey women traveled to New Haven, CT to compete at the Collegiate Track Conference Relays hosted by Southern Connecticut State University on December 5. Stockton placed fourth in the meet which awarded points based on the combined totals of two individuals in each event. The Ospreys placed first in the pole vault competition as junior Justine Fugowski and freshman Melissa Murphy each cleared 8 feet, 0 inches. The tandem of senior Jessica Caccamo and sophomore Audra Schappell earned a pair of second place finishes in the meet. Caccamo registered distances of 45 feet, 9.25 inches and 40 feet, four inches in the weight throw and shot put respectively. Schappell posted throws of 41 feet, 1 inch and 35 feet, 9.5 inches in the weight throw and shot put respectively. The Ospreys placed first in the pole vault competition as junior Jake Owens and junior Justin Lenzo each cleared 13 feet, six inches. Stockton took second place in the mile run as sophomore Richard Luettchau posted a time of 7:54.73 and senior Jeff Butler recorded a time of 9:20.43.

The Lion women opened their season under the direction of new head coach Eric Mobley by traveling to compete at Princeton University's New Year Invitational on December 5. Sophomore Angela Tecco placed fifth in the 500 meters with a personal best time of 1:09.5. The Lion 4x400 meter relay team of Tecco, freshman Carolyn Gray, freshman Jessica Bonelli and freshman Sara Tomszuk placed third with a time of 4:03.7. Junior Erika Huggler placed fifth in the 60 meters with a time of 9.40, while sophomore Khristelle Manuyag posted an NCAA provisional time of 7.83 in the 60 meter dash trials. Sophomore Elyse Mitchell placed sixth in the pole vault by clearing 2.90 meters, while freshman Jenizah Melendez placed eighth in the shot put with a throw of 11.52 meters. Junior Kevin Jones placed first in the long jump with a school-record and NCAA provisional mark of 7.2 meters. Junior Karim Cockrell placed sixth in the long jump with an NCAA provisional mark of 6.98 meters. Cockrell also placed second in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.01. Junior Jeff Schwerdtman placed second in the shot put with a school-record and NCAA provisional throw of 16.54 meters. Freshman Marquis Mitchell placed fourth in the triple jump with a school-record leap of 14.0 meters. Marquis also placed eighth in the high jump with a leap of 1.88 meters. Freshman Sullivan Parker placed first in the 60 meter dash with an NCAA provisional time of 6.97, while freshman Wes Friedman placed eighth in the 300 meters with a time of 36.75. Sophomore Paul Descepola placed sixth in the 60 meter hurdles with time of 8.64.
