MEN

The Lion women traveled to the New York Armory to compete at the New York City Collegiate Invitational on January 15. Sophomore Angela Tecco placed third in the 500 meters with a personal best time of 1:18.18, while sophomore Lindsay Force placed fourth in the one mile run with a time of 5:20.51. Junior Erika Huggler placed 13th in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.63, while junior Jenna Fasulo placed 10th in the 3,000 meters with a personal best time of 10:52.22. Junior Kara Horner placed 12th in the one mile run with a time of 11:03.61, while junior Bobby Jo Leighty placed seventh in the shot put with a throw of 11.55 meters. Sophomore Elyse Mitchell placed sixth in the pole vault with a leap of 2.90 meters. The Lion men traveled to the New York Armory to compete at the New York City Collegiate Invitational on January 15. Junior Chris Tranchina placed second in the shot put with a throw of 14.85 meters. Junior Kevin Jones placed fifth in the 200 meters with a time of 22:41, while senior Matt Molski placed ninth in the 3,000 meters with a personal best time of 8:38.31. Senior Sean Lesniak, freshman Brian Kopnicki and senor Rob Barger placed 19th, 21st and 23rd respectively in the 3,000 meters with personal best times of 9:04.59, 9:06.61 and 9:09.55. Junior Sean Begley placed seventh in the long jump with a leap of 6.45 meters, while senior Ed Marion placed fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.87 meters. Sophomore Dave Dos Santos notched a 13th place finish in the one mile run with a time of 4:26.92.
