Prof senior Lauren Darroch placed second in the shot put with a throw of 11.01 meters at the New York University Fast Track Meet held at the New York Armory on February 25.  Prof junior Robert Godfrey captured first place in the shot put with a winning throw of 16.18 meters at the New York University Fast Track Meet held at the New York Armory on February 25. Junior Ryan West placed eighth in the pole vault with a season-best and NCAA provisional mark of 4.50 meters.

The Lion women first traveled to Manhattan to compete at the New York University Fast Track Meet at the New York Armory on February 25. The Lion 4x400 meter relay team of freshman Carolyn Gray, junior Tiffany Clark, freshman Jessica Bonelli and sophomore Angela Tecco placed second with an NCAA provisional time of 3:54.19. Individually, Tecco placed 10th in the 400 meters with an NCAA provisional time of 58.59. Two days later on February 27, Lion junior Brittny Boyd placed second in the 60 meter dash with a school-record and NCAA provisional time of 7.79 at the Seton Hall University Last Chance Meet in East Orange. Boyd also placed second in the long jump with an NCAA provisional mark of 5.53 meters. The Lion men traveled to Manhattan to compete at the New York University Fast Track Meet at the New York Armory on February 25. Junior Jeff Zodda placed third in the 800 meters with a school-record and NCAA automatic qualifying time of 1:52.44. Junior Matt Molski placed third in the one mile run with a school-record and NCAA automatic qualifying time of 4:09.71.
