| The Gothic Knight women traveled to New Haven, CT to compete at the Yale University Classic on January 14. Senior Denay Caldwell placed second in the 60 meter hurdles with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 9.15. Senior Andrea Herbert placed fourth in the triple jump with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 11.29 meter. Herbert also placed 13th in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.24. Freshman Angela Carter placed 10th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:36.92, while sophomore Samayyah Washington placed 31st in the 400 meters with a time of 1:07.45. Freshman Candice Bellamy placed 12th in the triple jump and 18th in the long jump with respective marks of 9.04 and 4.36 meters. Bellamy also placed 14th in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 10.55. Freshman Ellysha Delva placed 11th in the triple jump and 21st in the long jump with respective leaps of 9.76 and 3.99 meters. | The Gothic Knight men traveled to New Haven, CT to compete at the Yale University Classic on January 14. Sophomore Anthony Miles captured first place in the 60 meter dash with an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 6.81. Sophomore Ronald Hussey and sophomore Thomas Hunter placed second and third in the 60 meter dash with respective provisional qualifying times of 6.86 and 6.98. Junior Anthony Campbell and junior Terry Pearson placed fourth and eighth respectively in the 60 meter dash with times of 6.99 and 7.15. The Gothic Knight 4x400 meter relay team of Miles, Hussey, Hunter and Campbell placed second with a provisional qualifying time of 3:18.73. Campbell placed first in the 400 meters with a provisional qualifying time of 48.96, while Hussey, Hunter and Pearson placed seventh, eighth and 11th with respective times of 50.57, 50.81 and 50.93. Junior Hyron Griffith placed second in the triple jump with a provisional qualifying mark of 14.06 meters. Griffith also placed third in the long jump with a leap of 6.85 meters. |

| The Lion women traveled to Princeton to compete at the Princeton University Relays on January 15. Freshman Stephanie Herrick captured first place in the 800 meters with an ECAC qualifying time of 2:22.26. Senior Bobbi Joe Leighty placed third in shot put with an ECAC qualifying mark of 11.79 meters. Junior Kristelle Manuyag placed firth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.11, while posting an ECAC qualifying time of 8.04 in the trials. Senior Jenna Fasulo, freshman Martine McGrath and freshman Megan O'Leary placed fifth, sixth and ninth in the 3,000 meters with ECAC qualifying times of 10:32.04, 10:32.39, and 10:39.33. Senior Erika Huggler placed third in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.89, while junior Angela Tecco placed third in the 600 meters with a time of 1:36.66. The Lion 4x400 meter relay team of Tecco, sophomore Carolyn Gray, sophomore Jessica Bonnelli and Herrick posted a time of 4:05.82. Bonelli and Gray placed third and fifth respectively in the 300 meters with times of 42.35 and 42.68. Freshman Kevin Grandstaff placed second in the high jump with a leap of 1.75 meters. Four Lions leapers posted ECAC qualifying marks in the long jump as Cockrell placed fourth, Grandstaff placed fifth, senior Kevin Jones placed sixth and sophomore Andy Lim placed seventh with respective marks of 6.73, 6.69, 6.62 and 6.59 meters. |
