MEN

The Gothic Knight women traveled to Northfield, MN to compete at the NCAA Division III National Championships hosted by St. Olaf on March 10-11. NJCU tied for 17th as a team despite only having two competitors. Senior Andrew Herbert earned All-American honors in the triple jump with a third place finish with a mark of 11.69 meters. Senior Denay Caldwell earned All-American honors by placing fifth in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.35. The Gothic Knight men traveled to Northfield, MN to compete at the NCAA Division III National Championships hosted by St. Olaf on March 10-11. NJCU placed fifth overall in the national championship. The Gothic Knight 4x400 meter relay team of junior Terry Pearson, sophomore Anthony Miles, sophomore Ronald Hussey, and sophomore Thomas Hunter placed third with a time of 3:17.99. Mile earned All-American honors and captured his second straight national title in the 55-Meter Dash with a winning time of 6.29. Hussey and Hunter placed third and seventh respectively in the 55-Meter Dash with times of 6.40 and 6.46.
