McGowan earns NJAC Track Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season after competing at the Lafayette-Rider Invitational at the New York Armory in Manhattan. He defeated a field of 44 competitors consisting of runners from Divisions I, II and III in the 400 meters with a winning time of 49.21. McGowan’s winning mark represented an ECAC qualifying time.

Siciliano becomes the fourth different Osprey to earn NJAC Field Athlete of the Week honors after competing at the Collegiate Track Conference Championships at Yale University in New Haven, CT. He defeated a field of 20 competitors in the weight throw with a winning mark of 14.30 meters. Siciliano’s performance helped propel the Ospreys to a fifth place finish in the 18-team championship.

Jamar Byrd, New Jersey City University

Byrd becomes the third different Gothic Knight to earn NJAC Rookie honors after competing in a pair of events at the CTC Championships contested at Yale University in New Haven, CT. In only the second meet of his collegiate career, he placed first in a field of 25 competitors in the long jump with an ECAC qualifying leap of 6.72 meters. He also placed second in a field of 17 competitors in the triple jump with an NCAA provisional qualifying leap of 14.02 meters. Byrd’s performances helped propel the Gothic Knights to a 10th place finish in the 18-team championship.
