Salamon becomes the second different Scarlet Raptor to earn NJAC Track Athlete of the Week honors after competing at the ECAC Division III Championships hosted by Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. Individually, he placed sixth in a field of 14 competitors in the 500 meters with a school-record time of 1:07.36. He then was a member of the Camden 4x800 meter relay which placed second in a field of 18 teams with a school-record time of 7:57.68. He also was a member of the Raptors’ distance medley relay which placed eighth in a 17-team field with a school-record time of 10:32.93. Salamon’s performances helped Rutgers-Camden place 26th overall in the 56-team championship.

Seidel earns NJAC Field Athlete of the Week honors after competing at the ECAC Division III Championships hosted by Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. Competing in the shot put, he placed second in a field of 17 competitors with a school-record throw of 15.27 meters. Seidel’s performance helped the Roadrunners place 36th overall in the 56-team championship.

Ryan Malloy, New Jersey City University

Malloy earns NJAC Rookie honors for the second time this season after competing at the ECAC Division III Championships hosted by Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. Individually, he captured the ECAC championship in the 500 meters by placing first in a field of 14 competitors with a school-record time of 1:06.26. He also was a member of the Gothic Knights’ 4x400 meter relay which placed 10th in a 16-team field with a time of 3:27.58. Malloy’s performances helped NJCU place 23rd overall in the 56-team championship.
