Williams earns NJAC Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the
Week honors after traveling to New York City to compete at the Great Dane
Classic contested at the 168th Street Armory. He placed third in a field
of 46 predominantly Division I competitors in the 55 meters with an NCAA
provisional time of 6.43. Williams, who was competing in the 55 meters for
the first time this season, registered a time which was just four-tenths
of a second off of his own school-record in the event. |

Asimou earns NJAC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the
Week honors for the third time this season after traveling to New York
City to compete at the Great Dane Classic contested at the 168th Street
Armory. He placed second in a field of 21 predominantly Division I
competitors in the shot put with an NCAA provisional throw of 16.12
meters. In three meets on the season, Asimou has posted two first and one
second-place finishes in the shot put. |

Hayes earns NJAC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Rookie of
the Week honors for the second consecutive week after traveling to
Bethlehem, PA to compete at Lehigh University’s John Covert Classic. He
placed second in a field of Division I, II and III competitors in the long
jump with an NCAA provisional leap of 7.0 meters. Hayes also placed fifth
in a field of 32 competitors in the 60 meters with a time of 7.20. |
