Herrick becomes the fifth different Lion to earn NJAC Track Athlete of the Week honors after competing in one individual event and one relay at the Lafayette-Rider Invitational held at the New York Armory in Manhattan. She defeated a field of 36 competitors to win the 800 meters with a school-record and NCAA automatic qualifying time of 2:12.97. Herrick also was a member of TCNJ’s 4x400 meter relay team which finished as the top Division III squad, placing third in a nine-team field with a time of 4:00.10.

Chatman earns NJAC Field Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season after competing at the Collegiate Track Conference Championships at Yale University in New Haven, CT. She placed first in the pentathlon, winning three-of-the-five events for a winning score of 3,282 points. She also placed fifth in a field of 23 competitors in the shot put with a throw of 11.20 meters, while placing sixth in a field of 20 competitors in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 9.11 seconds. Chatman’s performance helped the Ospreys place fifth overall in the 18-team championship.

Shepherd earns NJAC Rookie honors for the second time this season after competing at the CTC Championships at Yale University in New Haven, CT. She placed third in a field of 18 competitors in the high jump with a successful leap of 1.61 meters. Shepherd, who was part of an Osprey squad which placed fifth in the 18-team championship, placed behind only a pair of Division II competitors.
