Herrick becomes the second different Lion to earn NJAC
Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honors after traveling to
Princeton to compete at the Princeton Relays contested in Jadwin
Gymnasium. She captured first place in a field of eight competitors in the
one mile run with an NCAA provisional time of 5:00.91. Herrick also posted
the top Division III finish in the 800 meters, placing fifth in a field of
24 competitors with an NCAA provisional time of 2:16.83. |

Riddick earns NJAC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the
Week honors after traveling to New York City to compete at the Great Dane
Classic contested at the 168th Street Armory. She captured first place in
a field of 24 predominately Division I competitors in the shot put with an
NCAA automatic qualifying throw of 13.95 meters. Riddick, who was
competing in just the third meet of her collegiate career, recorded a
throw which was just three feet short of the school record. |

Brown becomes the third different Gothic Knight to earn
NJAC Women’s Indoor Track & Field Rookie honors after traveling to
Middletown, CT to compete at the Wesleyan University Invitational. She
placed first in a field of 32 competitors in the long jump with an ECAC
qualifying leap of 5.22 meters. She also placed first in a field of 18
competitors in the triple jump with an ECAC qualifying mark of 10.55
meters. She also notched a third place finish in a field of 22 competitors
in the 400 meters with a time of 1:02.12, before competing as a member of
the Gothic Knights’ 4x400 meter relay which placed fifth in a field of 11
teams with a time of 4:29.10. |
