Wright earns NJAC Player
honors after averaging 18.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and five steals per game
in a 1-1 week for the Roadrunners. He first posted 20 points and seven
rebounds in Ramapo's 85-62 NJAC road loss to Kean. He wrapped up the week
just shy of a triple-double with game totals of 16 points, 12 rebounds,
six assists and nine steals in Ramapo's 119-64 NJAC win over
Rutgers-Camden. The 2003-04 NJAC Defensive Player of the Year, Wright
currently leads the league in offensive rebounding (4.50 per game), while
ranking second in the conference in steals (4.00 per game) and fourth in
the NJAC in scoring (17.8 points per game). |

Byrnes
earns NJAC Rookie honors for the second time this season after averaging
15.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in a 3-0 week for the Profs. He
first tallied 15 points and six rebounds in Rowan's 82-63 NJAC road
victory at Rutgers-Camden. In Rowan's Heritage's Classic Tournament, he
posted 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting, while adding four rebounds in the
Prof's 83-50 first round victory over Valley Forge Christian. In the
tournament championship game, he notched 19 points and four rebounds as
Rowan claimed the title with a 93-81 win over Lincoln. Byrnes, who earned
All-Tournament accolades for his play in Heritage's Classic, currently
ranks ninth in the NJAC in scoring with an average of 15.0 points per
game. |
