Byrnes earns NJAC Player of the Week honors after
producing the highest conference scoring performance of the young season
during the Profs’ 93-73 non-conference road win at Medgar Evers. In the
victory, he totaled 37 points while shooting 11-of-18 from the field,
5-of-8 from three point range, and 10-12 from the foul line. He also
notched 12 rebounds, one assist, and one steal in the game which marked
the third straight contest in which he finished as the Profs’ leading
scorer and rebounder. Byrnes currently leads the NJAC in scoring with an
average of 29.3 points per game. |

Askew earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after
producing 16 points in just 25 minutes of action during the Scarlet
Raptors’ 93-77 non-conference road win at Valley Forge Christian. In the
victory, he shot 7-of-8 from the field and 2-of-3 from three-point range
while adding three rebounds, two assists and three steals. Askew is part
of a Camden team offense that currently ranks tied for second in the NJAC
in three-point field goals made per game (6.33). |
