John earns NJAC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after tallying 28 points and five rebounds in the Gothic Knights’ 120-113 double-overtime consolation game loss to the host Tigers in the Hampden-Sydney Holiday Tournament. In the contest, he shot 10-of-15 from the field and 5-of-10 from three point range while adding four steals and two blocks. John’s 28 points in just 29 minutes of action represented a career-high.

Dominguez becomes the second different Gothic Knight to earn NJAC Rookie honors after averaging 4.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for NJCU during the Hampden-Sydney Tournament. In his first game played for NJCU, he notched eight points, two blocks, and a team-high 10 rebounds in the Knights’ 76-62 opening round defeat to Albright. Dominguez wrapped up the tournament by notching a rebound and an assist in just five minutes of action during NJCU’s 120-113 double-overtime loss to host Hampden-Sydney in the tournament consolation game.
