Acuna becomes the second consecutive Gothic Knight to
earn NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after registering 10
points during a pair of victories for NJCU. He opened conference play by
notching a goal in the 71st minute after assisting on the game-winner in NJCU’s 3-0 NJAC road win at William
Paterson. One day later, he tallied three goals and one assist for seven
points in the Gothic Knights’ 4-2 non-conference victory over St.
Joseph’s-Patchogue. Acuna currently leads the NJAC in points with 19 on
the season. |

Miles’ selection marks the third consecutive week that
a Red Hawk has garnered NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors. In
Montclair’s only match of the week, he scored his first career goal in the
58th minute as the Red Hawks opened defense of their conference
championship with a 1-0 NJAC road win at Rowan. He also was a key cog in a
defense that held the Profs to just six shots in MSU’s sixth consecutive
shutout. Miles and the Red Hawks’ defense have yet to surrender a goal in
560 minutes of action on the season. |

Kilicoglu earns NJAC Rookie of
the Week honors after being named the Most Valuable Player of the
Rutgers-Newark Scarlet Raider Classic. He opened tournament play by
notching two goals and one assist for five points in a 3-0 opening win
over Farmingdale State. One day later, he wrapped up the week by netting
three goals and one assist for seven points in Camden’s 8-0 victory over
Centenary. Kilicoglu currently ranks third in the NJAC in both points (14)
and goals (6). |
