Acuna earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors
for the second consecutive week after registering six points in a pair of
key conference victories for the Gothic Knights. He opened the week by
tallying a goal and an assist for three points in NJCU’s 2-1 NJAC victory
over previously unbeaten Ramapo. He wrapped up the week by notching the
game-winning goal while adding an assist for an additional three points in
the Gothic Knights’ 3-1 NJAC road won at Rowan, which marked their first
win in Glassboro since 1972. Acuna currently leads the NJAC in goals (9),
assists (7), and points (25). |

Fiorani earns NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors
after playing a key role in a pair of NJAC victories for the Scarlet
Raiders. He opened the week by anchoring a Camden defensive unit that
limited the visiting Profs to just four shots on goal in the Scarlet
Raptors’ 1-0 win over rival Rowan. Three days later, he was part of a unit
that went on the road and limited Kean to just five shots on goal in
Camden’s second consecutive 1-0 shutout victory. Fiorani is a key cog in a
Rutgers-Camden defense that currently ranks third in the NJAC in goals
allowed per game (0.67). |

Barrell earns NJAC Rookie of
the Week honors after contributing to the Pioneers’ first NJAC victory of
the season. Following a 2-0 NJAC defeat to Montclair State, he and
Paterson rebounded just three days later with a 3-2 win over conference
rival Richard Stockton. He netted William Paterson’s second goal in the
win over the Ospreys to give the Pioneers their sixth overall victory on
the season. Barrell currently ranks tied for ninth in the NJAC in total
assists (3). |
