WOMEN

MEN

The Osprey women traveled to Ewing to compete at The College of New Jersey Invitational on April 15. Stockton tied for third place in the 11-team event with 90 points. Freshman Jessica Matthews placed first in the high jump with a leap of 1.61 meters. Junior Audra Schappell placed first in the discus and fourth n the hammer throw with respective marks of 42.75 and 38.78 meters. Senior Kathleen McAlarnen placed first in the hammer throw with a toss of 46.33 meters, while junior Lisa Chatman placed second in the javelin with a mark of 31.06 meters. Junior Katie Dirkes placed second in the hammer throw with a mark of 41.39 meters. Freshman Kelly Rozing placed third in both the discus and shot put with respective throws of 34.70 and 10.54 meters.   The Osprey men traveled to Ewing to compete at The College of New Jersey Invitational on April 15. Stockton placed second in the 13-team event with 118 points. Junior Paul Klemic placed first in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.05. Klemic also placed first in the long jump and second in the high jump with respective leaps of 7.38 and 2.10 meters. Junior Anthony Siciliano placed first in the discus and second in the shot put with respective throws of 42.26 and 13.55 meters. Freshman Rob Reynolds placed first in the javelin with a throw of 55.04 meters, while senior Jake Owens placed first in the pole vault with a mark of 4.91 meters. Freshman Chris Huch placed third in both the high jump and triple jump with respective leaps of 1.90 and 12.59 meters.

The Prof women hosted the six-team Rowan Open in Glassboro on April 15. Sophomore Sharon Heilig placed first in the 100 meter hurdles with a winning time of 15.49. Heilig also placed first in both the high jump and long jump with respective leaps of 1.47 and 4.94 meters. Junior Kim Brennan placed first in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:12.83. Sophomore Raye Teyssier placed first in the pole vault with a mark of 2.89 meters.  The Prof women hosted the six-team Rowan Open in Glassboro on April 15. Senior Ryan West placed first in the pole vault with a school-record and NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 4.72 meters. Junior Tim Bowser placed first in the high jump with an NCAA provisional mark of 2.08 meters. Senior Nick DeSantis placed first in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:18.15, while junior Daniel Urban placed first in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:17.76. Freshman Mason Campbell placed first in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 58.24, while freshman Orlando Peterson placed first in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.07. The Rowan 4x100 meter relay team of junior Bryan Pittman, sophomore John Barbadoro, sophomore Dustin Katcher and Bowser placed first with a winning time of 43.46. The Prof 4x400 meter relay team of Barbadoro, Campbell, junior Joseph Minch and sophomore Chima Nwosu placed first with a time of 3:31.78.

The Scarlet Raptor women first traveled to Annville, PA to compete at the Lebanon Valley Invitational on April 12. Sophomore Imani Hafiz placed second in the triple jump with a leap of 34-5. Hafiz also placed fifth n the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.4. Senior Tanishia Greene placed seventh in the 200 meters and eighth in the 100 meter dash with respective times of 29.3 and 13.7. Sophomore Jessica Hull placed 12th in the 200 meters and 13th in the 100 meter dash with respective times of 30.3 and 14.5. Freshman Becca Taylor placed fifth in the discus and 10th in the shot put with respective throws of 101-0 and 23-8. The Scarlet Raptors then traveled to Ewing to compete at The College of New Jersey Invitational on April 15. Camden placed ninth in the 11-team competition with 17 points. Senior Carmen Zimmitt placed fourth in the long jump and sixth in the triple jump with respective leaps of 17-10.75 and 33-6.75. Zimmitt also placed 11th in both the 100 meter dash and the 200 meters with respective times of 12.66 and 26.85. Hafiz placed fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 34-6.25, while Greene placed 17th in the 100 meter dash and 22nd in the 200 meters with respective times of 13.42 and 28.68. Hull placed 22nd in the 100 meter dash and 27th in the 200 meters with respective times of 13.91 and 29.86. Taylor placed sixth in the discus and seventh in the shot put with respective marks of 94-6 and 29-8.25.   The Scarlet Raptor men first traveled to Annville, PA to compete at the Lebanon Valley Invitational on April 12. Freshman Jonathan Salamon placed third in the 800 meters, fourth in the 400 meters, and fourth in the 1,500 meters with respective times of 2:05.0, 53.0, and 4:17.5. Freshman Travis Stewart placed seventh in the 1,500 meters and 13th in the 800 meters with respective times of 4:22.4 and 2:12.3. Sophomore Patrick Eigbe placed ninth in the 400 meters, 17th in the 100 meter dash, and 18th in the 200 meters with respective times of 55.8, 12.9, and 25.8. Sophomore Michael McClain placed 13th in the long jump with a mark of 15-0.5. The Scarlet Raptors then traveled to Ewing to compete at The College of New Jersey Invitational on April 15. Camden placed 12th in the 13-team field with 10 points. Stewart placed fifth in the 800 meters and 23rd in the 1,500 meters with respective times of 1:57.96 and 4:14.92. Sophomore Darryl Mendillo placed 40th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:07.62. McClain placed 14th in the long jump and 15th in the triple jump with respective leaps of 16-7.0 and 34-2.75.
