| Select members of the Gothic Knights traveled to Philadelphia to compete at the Penn Relays on April 29. The NJCU 4x100 meter relay team of junior Anthony Miles, sophomore Thomas Hunter, senior Ronald Hussey, and junior Terry Pearson set an NCAA Division III national record with a time of 39.95. In doing so, the Gothic Knights defeated a field of Division I relay teams including Auburn, Kentucky, East Carolina, Indiana and Penn State. NJCU finished second in its heat behind only the University of Texas. | |

| One member of the Osprey women's squad traveled to Philadelphia to compete at the Penn Relays on April 29. Junior Lisa Chatman placed ninth in the college women's heptathlon with a school-record mark of 4,418 points. The remainder of the Ospreys traveled to Ewing to compete at the TCNJ Lions' Invitational on April 29. Senior Kathleen McAlarnen finished second in the hammer throw with a school-record toss of 160'10". Junior Audra Schappell placed second in the discus with a throw of 142'2", while freshman Jessica Matthews placed seventh in the high jump with a leap of 5'1.25". Junior Jacqui Wojtaszek placed seventh in the 5,000 meters with a time of 19:23.95, while freshman Stephanie Aromando placed seventh in the hammer throw with a mark of 136'4". | Two members of the Osprey men's squad traveled to Philadelphia to compete at the Penn Relays on April 29. Junior Paul Klemic won the Eastern college men's long jump with a leap of 24'11". Klemic also placed first in the Eastern college men's high jump with a leap of 6'11.75". Senior Jake Owens placed first in the Eastern college men's pole vault with a mark of 15'7". The remainder of the Ospreys traveled to Ewing to compete at the TCNJ Lions' Invitational on April 29. Sophomore Tony DeFeo placed first in the pole vault with a mark of 15'5". Junior Anthony Siciliano placed sixth in both the discus and shot put with respective throws of 140'4" and 47'3.75". |

| The Scarlet Raptor women traveled to Ewing to compete at the TCNJ Lions' Invitational on April 29. Senior Carmen Zimmitt placed second in the long jump with a leap of 17'3.25". Senior Tanishia Greene placed 13th in the 100 meter dash and 19th in the 200 meters with respective times of 13.24 and 28.00. Sophomore Imani Hafiz placed 13th in the 400 meters with a time of 1:01.29. Hafiz also placed seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 35'4.50". Sophomore Jessica Hull placed 24th in the 400 meters with a time of 1:08.28. Freshman Brandee Neiderhofer placed 37th in the 800 meters and 36th in the 1,000 meters with respective times of 2:45.83 and 5:41.07. Sophomore Michael McClain placed 17th in the long jump and 12th in the triple jump with respective leaps of 15'3.25" and 34'2.00". Sophomore Darryl Mendillo placed 10th in the 400 meters with a time of 53.16. |
