Zodda earns NJAC Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honors for the third time this season after being named the Overall Most Outstanding Male Athlete at the 2007 NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. He placed first in a field of 20 competitors to capture the conference crown in the 800 meters with a time of 1:53.69. He also placed first in a field of 16 competitors in the 1,500 meters with a winning time of 3:57.07. Zodda’s performances helped lead TCNJ to its 10th consecutive NJAC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship.

Jamar Byrd, New Jersey City University

Byrd earns NJAC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors after being named the Most Outstanding Field Athlete at the 2007 NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. He defeated a field of 14 competitors to capture the league crown in the long jump with a winning leap of 6.84 meters. He also placed first in a field of 12 competitors in the triple jump with a leap of 13.68 meters. A two-time NJAC Rookie of the Week selection, Byrd helped lead the Gothic Knights to a sixth place finish in the championship meet.

Sean Biehn, Rowan University

Biehn becomes the second different Prof to earn NJAC Outdoor Rookie of the Week honors after competing at the 2007 NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. He placed first in a field of 17 competitors to claim the conference crown in the javelin with a heave of 58.43 meters. Biehn’s winning throw represented an NCAA provisional qualifying mark and helped propel Rowan to a second place team finish in the championship meet.
