McCleese becomes the second different Gothic Knight to
earn NJAC Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honors after traveling
to Ewing to compete at the New Jersey Invitational hosted by TCNJ. He
placed second in a field of 29 competitors in the 100 meter dash with an
ECAC and personal best time of 10.93. He also placed third in a field of
38 competitors in the 200 meters with an ECAC qualifying time of 22.12.
McCleese also was a member of the Gothic Knights’ 4x100 meter relay which
placed second in a nine-team field with a NCAA provisional time of 41.85. |

Asimou earns NJAC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the
Week honors for the second consecutive week after traveling to Kings
Point, NY to compete in the Bill Omeltchenko Invitational hosted by the
United States Merchant Marine Academy. He won his second event of the year
by placing first in a field of 28 competitors in the shot put with a NCAA
provisional throw of 15.70 meters. |

|
Hayes earns NJAC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of
the Week honors for the second time this season after competing in the
Profs’ own Rowan Open contested at John Page Field. He placed first in a
field of six competitors in the long jump with a meet record and NCAA
provisional leap of 7.00 meters. Hayes also placed third in a field of
eight competitors in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.41. |
