McCleese earns NJAC Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the
Week honors for the second consecutive week after traveling to Center
Valley, PA to compete at the Collegiate Track Conference Championships
hosted by DeSales University. He placed first in a field of 36 competitors
in the 100 meter dash with a winning ECAC qualifying time of 11.14. He
also placed second in a field of 37 competitors in the 200 meters with a
NCAA provisional time of 21.63. McCleese also was a member of NJCU’s 4x100
meter relay which placed first in a 12-team field with a winning NCAA
provisional time of 41.85. He also ran the anchor leg of the Gothic
Knights’ 4x400 meter relay which placed first in a field of 12 teams with
a winning ECAC qualifying time of 3:19.90. McCleese’s performances helped
propel the Gothic Knights to a fourth place finish in the 18-team
championship. |

Corey earns NJAC Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the
Week honors for the third time this season after traveling to Center
Valley, PA to compete at the Collegiate Track Conference Championships
hosted by DeSales University. He placed first in a field of 26 competitors
in the javelin with a winning NCAA automatic qualifying throw of 65.65
meters. His winning throw was a career-best and represented the longest
throw in NCAA Division III this season. Corey’s performance helped propel
the Profs to a sixth place finish in the 18-team championship. |

A Week 3 NJAC Track Athlete of the Week selection,
Brown earns NJAC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week honors
after traveling to Center Valley, PA to compete at the Collegiate Track
Conference Championships hosted by DeSales University. He placed first in
a field of 29 competitors in the 110 meter hurdles with a winning NCAA
provisional time of 14.82. He also placed first in a field of 30
competitors in the 400 meter hurdles with a winning ECAC qualifying time
of 55.74. Brown’s performances helped propel the Red Hawks to a fifth
place finish in the 18-team championship. |
