Tecco earns the first ever NJAC Women’s Outdoor Track
Athlete of the Week honor after competing at the Monmouth University
Season Opener in West Long Branch, NJ. She placed fifth in a field of 62
competitors in the 800 meters with an ECAC qualifying time of 2:20.88. She
also placed ninth in a field of 63 runners in the 1,500 meters with an
ECAC qualifying time of 4:54.40. Tecco was the top Division III finisher
in both events. |

Schappell earns the first ever NJAC Women’s Outdoor
Field Athlete of the Week honor after competing in the Ospreys’ own
Stockton Invitational in Pomona, NJ. She placed first in a field of 13
competitors in the discus with a winning throw of 40.79 meters. Schappell
also placed fourth among 14 throwers in the shot put with a mark of 11.22
meters, while placing sixth among 11 competitors in the hammer throw with
a toss of 40.76 meters. |

Miller earns the first ever NJAC Outdoor Rookie of the
Week selection after competing at the Monmouth University Season Opener in
West Long Branch, NJ. In the first collegiate outdoor meet of her career,
she placed fifth in a field of 24 competitors in the 400 meter hurdles
with a time of 1:07.01. Miller was the top Division III finisher in the
event. |
