Bonelli becomes the second straight Lion to earn NJAC
Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honors after competing at the
Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University in Chester, PA. She
placed first in a field of 40 competitors in the 200 meters with an ECAC
qualifying time of 25.78. She also was a member of TCNJ’s 4x100 meter
relay that placed first in an eight-team field with an ECAC qualifying
time of 51.23. Bonelli also was a member of the winning Lions’ 4x400 meter
relay that defeated a field of 13 teams with an ECAC qualifying time of
4:01.91. |

Schappell earns NJAC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of
the Week honors for the second straight week after competing at the Danny
Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University in Chester, PA. She
placed first in a field of 36 competitors in the discus with a meet-record
throw of 41.86 meters. She also placed fourth in a field of 23 competitors
in the hammer throw with a mark of 42.05 meters. Schappell wrapped up the
meet by placing 12th in a field of 43 competitors in the shot put with a
throw of 10.10 meters. |

Tricocci becomes the second consecutive Lion to earn
NJAC Outdoor Rookie of the Week honors after competing at the Danny Curran
Invitational hosted by Widener University in Chester, PA. Individually,
she placed first in a field of 25 competitors in the long jump with an
ECAC qualifying leap of 5.11 meters. She also was a member of TCNJ’s 4x100
meter relay which placed first in the eight-team race with an ECAC
qualifying time of 51.23. Tricocci also competed as a member of the Lions’
winning 4x400 meter relay which placed first in a field of 13 teams with
an ECAC qualifying time of 4:01.91. |
